460degrees signs the Prime Minister’s Veteran Employment Commitment

460degrees is pleased to announce that we have signed the Veteran’s Employment Commitment in recognition of our organisational commitment to creating employment opportunities for veterans.

By signing this commitment, we are demonstrating our dedication to ensure employment opportunities for veterans and to recognise the skills, values and experience that veterans bring to the workforce upon leaving the Australian Defence Force. As members of this program we are declaring to:

  • recognise the significant skills and value that veterans can bring to your organisation
  • support the employment of veterans, ensuring veterans have equal opportunity in gaining employment with your organisation
  • provide career opportunities in your organisation to veterans
  • actively seek to understand how veterans’ skills and experience translate to civilian roles and contribute to your organisation
  • provide suitable training, mentoring and coaching to help veterans integrate into your organisation
  • ensure your human resource policies equitably support the recruitment and retention of all employees, including veterans.

The Veteran’s Employment Commitment is part of the Australian Governments Veteran Employment Program. For more information visit – www.veteransemployment.gov.au
