Nick Jaszczyk
Expert: Partner, Delivery & Senior Project Manager
460dgrees Partner, Nick works directly with clients on major digital transformation and change initiatives – helping clients move from idea and strategy through to execution. His vast experience means he also leads internal coaching to help 460degrees shape the best teams and solutions deals for clients.
After working in major, Tier 1 systems integration, as well as consulting across federal, state and local government for a decade, Nick moved into a lead role at an Australian university before joining 460degrees.
Nick’s work has remained predominantly focused in the higher education sector, with projects ranging from bringing on entirely new enterprise platforms (eg: CRM and Student Systems) to working on targeted help such as uplifting procurement services.
Nick believes clients want rapid analysis, less theory and more practical help, and is most satisfied when he can deliver speedy and robust strategies alongside highly actionable plans.
In his spare time Nick works on honing his skills on construction challenges around the house. Nick is a father of two small children and also enjoys taking time to mountain bike in the hills or surf the local beach.
Ram Ramanathan
Expert: DevOps
Tell someone you’re a DevOps Expert and most people reward you with a blank stare. Ironically, it’s an approach that is all about making things simpler – getting people, processes and tools on the same page and removing as many bottlenecks as possible through automation.
As our 460degrees DevOps Expert, Ram Ramanathan draws upon over 15 years’ experience working in senior backend engineer and consultant roles across multiple projects for big name clients, including Avaya, Amdocs, Citi, Target and ANZi.
Marrying software development with core DevOps practices (such as automated CI/CD, engineering cloud and data storage solutions) a great day at the office means “cracking the code” using creative problem solving. Ram particularly enjoys working collaboratively to design & implement technical solutions to new business problems and getting to witness the positive impact of his work.
When he’s not at the keyboard, Ram likes to keep active on the tennis court or flex his creative muscle as a short fiction writer.
Dr Patrick Scolyer-Gray
Champion: Human-Centric Cybersecurity
Patrick delivers a range of cybersecurity projects with 460degrees and provides thought leadership and advice to our team. He draws on behavioural and physical sciences to deliver holistic, comprehensive cyber solutions to our clients.
As a cyber-sociologist, Patrick investigates what, how and why people think and do what they do, identifies the security implications of our behaviour and ways of thinking, and then works to develop solutions to any vulnerabilities or weaknesses he finds. In his role he strives to deliver robust security architecture that outperforms the conventional techno-centric cyber solutions that currently dominate the market.
Patrick gained his PhD in Sociology in 2019, shortly after he had been offered and accepted a lecturing position at the Optus La Trobe Cybersecurity Research Hub. As a lecturer and as a research fellow at Deakin University, he refined his formidable skills, knowledge and experience across a broad range of fields in cybersecurity. His frequent interactions with industry, government – particularly the Department of Defence – imparted an irrepressible desire to engage with the cyber security issues he encountered directly.
Patrick takes particular satisfaction in eliciting previously obscured elements of the problems faced by his clients, then taking a collaborative approach to finding solutions. He sees his best results when these solutions become even more effective and increase in scale over time – and are eventually integrated into an organisation’s culture.
When he isn’t working, Patrick prefers to spend as much of his time with his wife and children as he can. When the day is through and time permitting, Patrick enjoys playing video games just as much now as he did when he was a child.
Richard Goodfellow
Champion: Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Richard, our expert Champion of 460degrees Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, brings with him more than a decade of experience in financial institutions, government and start-ups in both permanent and consulting positions.
His key areas of expertise include data analysis, data visualisation, business process improvement, system implementation and stakeholder management.
Richard has advanced skills in a range of leading data analysis and data preparation tools, including Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, SQL, SSIS, ElasticSearch, and Kibana.
He has a passion for producing actionable insight in a regular and sustained manner, which supports senior management teams with the successful running of their businesses. This is achieved through robust relationships that deliver consistent and simplistic advice.
Outside of the office Richard enjoys spending time exploring parks with his young son and wife. When time and weather permit, he can be found on the golf course or out fishing for snapper.
Kat Archibald
Champion: Strategic Communication
People underestimate the importance of strategic communication. But the fact is, it’s only by getting the right message in front of the right eyes and ears that you can influence attitudes and behaviours, help people make decisions and take action, or enhance reputation and manage risk. Which is precisely what Kat Archibald, 460degrees’ Champion of Strategic Communication, is all about.
Kat comes to the 460degrees table with an overflowing toolbox of skills, expertise and experience, honed via a series of senior positions in strategic communications and change management. Having spent over 12 years working within the Public Service, including Medicare, Centrelink and the Department of Agriculture, she most recently took on a consulting role, working with Defence on large-scale organisational and workforce change projects.
Seeing campaigns go live is Kat’s biggest work-related thrill. That, along with seeing clients experience that ‘penny drop’ moment where they come to understand how crucial effective communication is to business or project success. A self-described extrovert, her happy place is engaging and collaborating with teams to crack open a problem and solve it.
Outside work, Kat loves spending time with her husband and their 8-year-old twin girls – weekends are spent flitting between basketball, soccer, swimming and the park. Having grown up in a sport-crazy family, for Kat the year is divided into just two seasons: cricket and AFL (with a little rugby to fill in the gaps).
Laura Madrid
Expert: Environmental, Social & Governance Consultant (ESG)
When you’re aligned with your mission, great things are possible. And Laura Madrid, our 460degrees Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Expert, lives hers in everything she does. At the heart of that mission lies her core belief that we’re all responsible for doing things better – not just for us but also for future generations.
Consistently described as positive, passionate and determined, Laura enjoys having an impact by helping clients and their teams take a holistic approach to business sustainability. Her skills and experience are matched only by her ability to facilitate open conversations and see issues from unexplored angles.
An asset to the 460degrees team, Laura brings to the table deep expertise, leadership and management skills, honed though a series of awareness, change and project management roles. Driven by her passion for sustainability and knowledge-sharing, she also recently founded the Environmental Professional Community of Australia (EPCA) – an organisation dedicated to supporting and inspiring those working in the industry as they work together to create a better future.
It should be no surprise that Laura spends any free time she has immersed in the natural environment she loves – whether that’s scuba diving in the ocean or finding a peaceful moment of self-reflection in a quiet forest. She also enjoys keeping fit and spending meaningful time with her loved ones.
Sam Walker
Expert: Human-Centric Cybersecurity
It’s difficult to sum up the contribution our Cybersecurity Expert, Sam Walker, makes to the successful delivery of his 460degree client projects; he applies his expert touch to so many elements.
On any given day, Sam is involved in reporting, auditing, compliance, threat hunting, incident response, training and awareness and social engineering. This variety, along with the opportunity to help his clients improve their cybersecurity capability and resilience, is exactly what he enjoys most about his work. Well, that along with the fact it’s his dream job.
After high school, Sam spent many years working in retail and hospitality, honing his customer service skills, but he always had his eye on a career in IT. Courage and determination saw him take steps towards that goal in 2018, when he enrolled as a mature age student to complete a Bachelor of Cybersecurity at La Trobe University.
That same year, he gained a placement with BAE Systems Australia, working with their cybersecurity team. What started as a 4-week internship became the launch of his IT career. After continuing on at BAE in a part-time capacity throughout his studies, he was offered a fulltime position upon graduation.
Not one to sit still, Sam continues to expand his skillset. He’s currently studying for his CISSP certification, putting him one step closer to one day achieving his career goal of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Despite his busy work and study schedule, Sam tries to find time to pursue his other passions; gaming and playing the guitar. He’s also an ardent soccer fan, supporting Melbourne City in the A-League.

Settled with his family in Australia since 1999, John became an avid, some might say addicted, cyclist.
Jack Sussmilch
Expert: Human-Centric Cybersecurity
When you think of cybersecurity, it’s tempting to regard humans as the weakest link in the chain. But successful projects demand ‘real world’ solutions. Enter Jack Sussmilch, our trusted Cybersecurity Advisor. He puts people back at the centre of the cybersecurity ecosystem, providing new (and adapting/optimising the existing) technology and tools that make sense and fit more easily into your staff’s day-to-day.
An exceptional communicator with decades of experience advising tier-1 organisations on implementing systems that are sustainable, practical, and efficient, Jack has an uncanny knack for succeeding where others have missed the mark. This unique capability is particularly noticeable when it comes to software development security – yet another area in which Jack is at the vanguard of developments in both technology and human-computer interactions.
Having worked in the sector since leaving school, Jack gained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Computing – Commerce and Computer Science. He’s also fully accredited with the following ISC2 Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Most fulfilled when he’s helping others succeed at their work, Jack likes to focus on reducing friction amongst teams and between teams to empower people to work cohesively and achieve outcomes that often surpass even the highest expectations of stakeholders. He also gets a kick out of seeing his work being tested in the real world.
Outside work, Jack can be found chasing down anything that keeps him intellectually engaged. As he puts it, he’s not happy unless he’s learning something new. A devoted husband and father, he also loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family.

Syed Ahsan
Expert: Business Analyst
Wherever there’s a system, there’s a way to simplify it and make it run smoother. That’s what 460degrees Expert, Syed Ahsan, sees as the core of his role as Business Analyst.
After graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Syed quickly learned he preferred working with people over working with code. Starting out as a test analyst, he moved onto PMO and Business Analyst roles in financial services, before making a move into risk management projects.
Now with 460degrees, his initial focus has been supporting the finance stream of his client as they navigate the separation journey via process mapping, data extraction and setting up future legal entities. What it all boils down to is getting stuck into information, then crystalising it into something that makes people say, “Thanks – that makes my life easier!”
Passionate about travel and food, at the weekend you might find Syed working his way through his self-created “Best Burgers in Melbourne” list or driving 100km to chase down someone’s recommendation for a regional town Indian restaurant (he says they’re the best). An avid sports fan, Syed loves that he can access tennis, rugby, football and even ice hockey all in one city.
Kartik Ayyalasomayajula
Expert: Partner, Delivery & Senior Project Manager
As a 460degrees Partner, Kartik supports a range of clients at 460degrees, playing a key role in solution development for large, complex challenges across several different sectors.
Since becoming part of this world-first technology Expert Management Agency in 2019, he has worked on projects in the federal and state government, telecommunications, FMCG, human resources and financial services sectors.
Kartik says the best part about his role is the people he gets to collaborate with and the project opportunities provided by the 460degrees model.
He takes great pride in delivering strong results for clients, especially when he can deliver additional outcomes by solving a problem they didn’t know existed.
When not at work, Kartik – who is a keen R&B and hip-hop enthusiast – hosts a weekly music show on a Sydney radio station. He is also a keen supporter of the Carlton Football Club and India’s national cricket team.
Dale Dreise
Expert: Human-Centric Cybersecurity, Training Lead
As the Project Training Lead within Cybersecurity (aka Fleet IET Modernisation Training Lead), Dale is the go-to Expert when it comes to Cybersecurity Training, Content Development and Facilitation.
Deft with the details, Dale is happiest learning new software products and converting complex information into training programs and usable how-to guides.
The face to face element, however, is Dale’s favourite part of the job. Heading up a training session is where he really shines, drawing upon decades of experience working as a Technical Trainer.
Dale brings a depth and breadth of experience to the table, having thus far enjoyed a fascinating and varied career journey. After spending 8 years as a Navy Radio Operator (what’s now known as a Communication and Information System Sailor), he side-stepped into desktop support within Defence. Subsequent training roles saw him working with major organisations such as NSW Health and QLD Health.
Passionate about continuous learning, Dale headed back to university in 2019 and is currently studying to gain his Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations).
In his personal life, Dale loves nothing more than spending time with his family, including his wife and step-son. Dale is also keen follower of competitive Cycling, and in fact, took part in some competitive club racing as a youngster.
Rob Walliser
Expert: Business Transformation
Change might be the only constant in today’s flexible, mobile workforce. Remote workers, digital disruption, frequent restructures and talent shortages make finding and then keeping the best people in the right roles a persistent challenge for businesses and organisations.
Leading teams through significant change takes vision, leadership and drive. Qualities Rob Walliser, our 460degrees’ Workforce Management Expert, has in spades.
Joining the team in late 2020, Rob brings over 27 years’ experience to the table.
His rich and varied career kicked off in the petrochemical industry where he worked as a design engineer before switching lanes into management consultancy with KPMG. He then further honed his skills, holding a series of senior operational roles across the insurance and financial services industries.
As the champion of the 460degree workforce planning solution, Rob delivers business transformation programs and helps our clients maintain high-performing teams.
Known for his authentic leadership style, Rob genuinely loves helping people and has a knack for quickly creating trusting work environments. A great day at the office means finding better ways of doing things and learning something new.
Rob’s passion for helping others follows him outside the workplace and into a volunteer role as Director for disaster relief charity, ShelterBox. Clearly not one to sit still, any ‘downtime’ is spent gardening, walking his dog, getting out for a bike ride or spending time with his family.
Kunal Khanna
Expert: Business Intelligence
In a data-driven world, it’s easy for business leaders to get lost, not knowing what metrics to pay attention to or how to interrogate those numbers until they give up their stories.
As our 460degrees Business Intelligence Expert, Kunal Khanna supporting our clients to make informed decisions to quickly solve their business problems.
Before joining the 460degrees team on a project working with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Kunal worked across many industries, including technology and retail, leveraging his skills and expertise to help businesses connect to and visualise their data, providing deeper business insights. Looking forward, he hopes to develop his skills, combining the capabilities of both data engineering and analysis for a true end-to-end service.
A lifelong learner, Kunal is happiest when a project has him striving to learn new skills. He also particularly enjoys building meaningful, usable reporting solutions that positively impact an organisation’s performance.
Outside work, Kunal enjoys pursuing self-driven professional development opportunities, such as online courses or webinars, and spending time with family and friends. A keen sports fan, he’s also partial to binge watching corporate dramas.
Daniel Stojanov
Expert: DevOps Lead Software Engineer
Daniel’s title may be Software Engineer Lead, but for our DevOps Expert, Daniel Stojanov, his work is best defined as creative problem-solving.
When you think of software development, you might imagine a scene from The Matrix: dark screens of incomprehensible code. But, according to Daniel, it’s really about creating tools that are both useful and usable; things people swipe, touch, poke and play with every day.
That’s what Daniel does for our clients. He begins a project by taking in all the complex technical details of how software systems work. He then identifies the optimal patterns and designs that can be built into sophisticated applications. As he puts it, a good software engineer knows how to take Jenga blocks and turn them into a Colosseum; everything fits together as it should and is built to last.
With a background in aerospace engineering, Daniel’s career has seen him work on some cutting-edge projects. He once developed an application that used search and other AI algorithms to design metal structures that were then built with 3D printing technologies. This led him to publish no less than four papers on the topic, appearing in peer reviewed journals as first author.
In one of Daniel’s most recent Fintech projects, he was responsible for architecting and developing an algorithmic trading platform for retail clients to access via the web.
Whether he’s awaiting the correct output on a terminal, conducting a successful test or creating an animation on a webpage, Daniel says the most satisfying part of his job is seeing his ideas make their way out of his head and onto the screen.
Outside of work, Daniel is most likely to be found feeding his insatiably curious mind a steady diet of books – usually on whatever topic has most recently caught his eye. He also enjoys cycling and channelling his creativity into cooking up culinary delights.
John Forbes
Expert: Business Intelligence (BI&A)
Data. Our ability to gather mountains of the stuff has been a game changer for business. But data alone is not intelligence. Uncovering those insights requires the skill of a professional problem solver and interrogator of information. Someone like our Business Intelligence Expert, John Forbes.
Having recently joined the 460degrees team, John brings with him a full toolkit of analytical and system development skills, honed through roles within the health, medical, engineering and pharmaceutical sectors. But if you ask him, he’s not nearly done; his biggest career goal is to keep learning the latest software and techniques so he can apply them when developing new systems.
For John, a great day at the office means going upstream to find the real cause of problems before they have the chance to grow up into bigger ones. With the true culprit unmasked, he then helps clients form a plan to stop them re-offending. Put simply, he provides people with the right tools to help them do their job or run their business better.
Outside work, John keeps active and enjoys watching sports – particularly AFL (Go Magpies!), basketball and cricket. To unwind he loves listening to music or losing himself in a good book.
Barry Lerner
Champion: Smart Cities & 5G
As a former CIO of a large technology company, Barry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as an expert Champion of Smart Cities & 5G practice.
He has a Masters in Network Engineering and a professional background which saw him spend time at AT&T Bell Labs, IBM and Accenture. Barry is passionate about utilising digital disruptive technologies such as 5G, Cloud computing, big data, AI, IoT and smart city solutions to create new innovative solutions.
As an accomplished senior executive, Barry has led strategic initiatives to create new business opportunities in government, telecom, and digital communications industries, and he has extensive experience across Asia-Pacific in the areas of strategic planning, policy development, ICT solutions and strategic infrastructure architecture.
However, it is Barry’s strong relationship management and networks across senior industry and government executives throughout Asia-Pacific – coupled with his understanding of what is needed to undertake a complete digital transformation – that is of significant value to 460degrees.
Since migrating to Australia from the USA, Barry has become an avid AFL fan and has given up his allegiance to gridiron. He does volunteer work for many organisations that are based on improving one’s health and social betterment.
Thomas Robin
Expert: Sezoo
Thomas Robin’s business card might read ‘Consultant’ but printed in invisible ink is his real title, ‘Apprentice Digital Trust Wizard.’
As a valued member of the Sezoo team, partnering with 460degrees, Thomas’ role is to support Sezoo in delivering decentralised, human centred solutions to empower groups and people into a better digital future.
What does that look like on the ground? You might find Thomas preparing and reviewing materials for workshops, developing content on Digital Identity and related topics or bringing a fresh perspective and approach to problem solving client issues. Solving complex situations with new, innovative ideas and technology is his jam – he strives to deliver solutions that are built for both comfort and speed.
With a background in implementing large scale digital and mobile projects, Thomas brings to the table solid experience as a Consultant and Business Analyst, specialising in Design Thinking, Human Centred Design and Digital transformation. A career highlight (so far) was lending his skills to the development of the NDIS mobile app, ensuring its accessibility for all users. The app was rated as being one of the best government apps on the market.
Joining the Sezoo team puts Thomas one step closer to achieving his ultimate career goal – becoming a leading figure in the innovation space and leaving a lasting footprint on the world by designing/developing/implementing a new cutting edge design/systems/technology.
A pop-culture devotee and avid fan of tabletop RPG games, Thomas’ passions include film, music, history and food. A curious, lifelong learner, he has set himself a personal challenge of learning to cook a dish from every country he visits.
Helen Skamvougeras
Delivery Lead
Change may be one of the single most difficult things to effect within a business. It takes enormous skill and depth of experience to understand how to get people on the bus – not to mention getting them to their destination on time and on budget.
That’s where an expert Delivery Lead like Helen Skamvougeras is worth her weight (and then some) in gold. She helps people articulate and reframe change as an opportunity to be embraced, ensuring that projects aren’t just delivered, but embedded into new systems and structures.
Helen comes to the 460degrees team via a series of senior strategic roles in finance, change and transformation, including her position as Director, Head of Finance Change Management across Asia Pacific at the Royal Bank of Canada.
A natural leader and problem-solver, Helen’s happy place is defining a client’s strategy and vision and bringing together the right team to deliver it.
Outside work, you’ll find Helen planning her next trip overseas, sampling the cuisine at the latest new restaurant or finding peace and mental clarity through gardening, exercising, or chilling with family and friends.

Jo is a semi-professional French Horn player and regularly performs at prestigious venues in Melbourne in orchestral, operatic and chamber ensembles. He’s often found rowing on the Yarra River early in the morning.
Werner Burger
Expert: ICT Business Analyst / ICT Project Manager
On every project Werner must first and foremost understand the customer’s needs, dreams, expectations, fears, and objectives. He confirms that the way their requirements are explained are accurate to ensure the project’s digital communications capabilities are on the right track.
A great result for him as facilitator is to structure the project journey and build and motivate a team to continue to deliver, even when things get tough. He brings this considerable digital insight and a strong background in facilitation to his work with 460degrees.
Werner started in digital communications in 1996, first working as a software developer specialising in Oracle Development (OCP). In 1999 he worked with Accenture South Africa as an Application Programmer and then Senior Systems Analyst across Utilities, Retail, Energy and Petroleum, FMCG and Distribution.
In 2008, Werner joined Telkom SA, the largest ICT organisation in South Africa. He worked as Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager, and also became a Certified Scrum Master. In 2017 he moved to BCX – Technology as Senior ICT Consultant, working as facilitator and senior consultant for all major projects within their e-commerce space, and completing his PMP during this time. He joined 460degrees in 2020 as Business Analyst and Project Manager.
Werner is a staunch family man, and when not at work spends most of his time with his wife and three children. He loves swimming and playing golf, as well as hiking, travel, and sightseeing. He loves watching movies with his wife, and “a lot of chocolate!”
Callum Bond
DevOps Expert
While you could define DevOps as “an exercise in creating robust, fault-tolerant infrastructure that leverages automation to increase efficiency and ease of use,” Callum prefers to describe it in far simpler terms. For him it boils down to a combination of the two things he enjoys most: building things and helping people.
As a 460degrees DevOps Expert, Callum’s main goal is to kick obstacles out of the way so your teams can feel confident to innovate and experiment, allowing them to ‘move fast and break things’. Insatiably curious with broad experience and finely honed skills, Callum describes himself as a generalist and brings deep expertise to the 460degrees table gained through a wide variety of client engagements, ranging from established enterprise organisations to small FinTech startups and everything in between.
A big fan of “challenging but interesting” problems, a great day at the office means working closely with teams to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and pain points in the development workflow and to achieve increased release velocity without sacrificing confidence or safety.
Callum’s curious nature follows him outside the office. In his spare time, he enjoys 1/35 scale modelling of WW2 armour and regularly falls down rabbit holes in topics such as cryptocurrency, philosophy and history. If a genie appeared, offering him just one wish, he reckons he’d have to choose the ability to speak and understand all languages, past and present.
Ned Johnson
Expert: Management Consultant & Business Project Manager
Ned contributes to 460degrees’ business growth and transformations: bringing programs on track, creating cost-saving initiatives, and promoting cultural change.
Ned began his career in banking in the UK, then moved into telecommunications in the US and Australia, with a specific focus on data and technology. Gaining insight to the ways clients approach challenges across these industries provided his well-rounded view of sustainable ways to make a difference.
Now at 460degrees, Ned helps simplify and solve a wide range of problems that affect efficiency and productivity. He enjoys creating an efficient foundation for clients to build on, knowing that that this foundation provides not only value to the business, but also makes people happier, less stressed, and more productive.
Ned is a martial artist, a sculptor, shoe collector, and outdoor enthusiast. He has a wonderful and loving family and friend base across the globe, and enjoys travelling around to build memories with them.
Jaim Geri
Expert: Project Delivery
When your Project Support Officer honed their project management skills in the Australian Defence Force, you can be confident they’ll keep things on track.
