As our Defence expert Delivery Lead, Andrew Baker draws upon over 21 years with the Australian Army, where he deployed operational services across Africa, The Middle-East and South-West Pacific. Before retiring from military service, his contributions were twice recognised in the Australia Day Honour and Awards list.
Having since commenced his consulting career at Downer, working across the Defence and State Government & Critical Infrastructure portfolios, Andrew is now managing and growing a team of 460degrees Experts, focused on Defence project delivery in the ACT.
Passionate about people and teams, what Andrew enjoys most about his job is developing talent, ensuring his people not only enjoy what they do but feel they’ve made a positive contribution on projects.
Based in Canberra, Andrew enjoys all forms of sport and fitness, is a die-hard AFL fan and avid supporter of the Sydney Swans. On weekends, you’ll find him out on the fairways perfecting his golf game, running, cycling or sweating it out at the gym.
